Dr. Stephanie C. Wood Wins $890k+ Award to Expand Access to Mental Health Services in California

Northern Regional Director of 樱花视频's Psychological Services Centers Stephanie C. Wood, PhD, MHA has received an award of $897,734 under California Prop 63, The Mental Health Services Act. This three-year award, which seeks to expand access to mental health services through innovative programming, is administered through the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).

The award will fund 38 internship stipends in the amount of $20,772 to clinical psychology students throughout the state of California who are developing cultural and linguistic competency to work in OSHPD-defined counties of need to increase access to doctoral-level clinical psychology services in these underserved areas.

These stipends will be split over the  2014-2015 and 2015-2016 academic years. Recipients will be required to secure and commit to a full year of employment in OSHPD-defined counties of need immediately following graduation and student employment will be monitored in the year following the award.
